and why passionate brands are better than generic

I’m writing this edition from my hotel room in Amsterdam.

Just came back from an amazing event and after show party at NXT:Commerce Summit.

Agencies and apps have a new home

Brand spotlight

The riches are in the niches. That’s what they say.

And it’s true for Salomon.

Salomon is the prime example of profiting from going deep into a niche; trail running.

What started as a small crazy community of people that think a marathon is not stressful enough turned into a global movement.

Ok, so why am I telling you this? 

First, because I am a trail runner myself and I want you to know that I can run 60 km in the mountains.

But most importantly, brands like Salomon have die-hard fans.

It’s all about community. And with that, they’re in need of tools and services that help them leverage this even further. This is where you come into play.
