Omnisend did what??

And lead generation for Shopify apps

It’s been a while.

No one asked me to come back. So here I am.

Reminder: this is the newsletter you signed up for to stay in the loop about the Shopify Partner ecosystem. It was a long loop lol.

In today’s newsletter:

  • 📈 Why images are useless for SEO.

  • 🤳🏿 Keeping up with the Kardashian brands.

  • 🔥 The hottest merch drops in DTC SaaS history.

  • 🤝 Led-gen collabo.

  • 💀 Something you’re afraid of.

Sounds ok?

NOW THAT’S INTERESTING

Omnisend did what??

Omnisend removed all featured images on their blog posts two years ago.

Guess what; nothing happened.

Their traffic even continued to grow.

And with a cadence of three high quality articles per day, their Design team can breathe.

It might not be the most pleasing thing to look at, but who cares?! It works.

Well done.

s/o to Bernard for sharing this.

The brand you wish you’d have

Lemme tell you about this brand called Lemme. Owned by Kourtney Kardashian, it’s one of the brands you’d wanna use their logo as social proof on your website.

Famous owner, guaranteed success, slick design, and lots of attention from Shopify’s side and all that good stuff.

Oh, and they're featured in Forbes, a publisher only hyper-legit brands and people get featured. Erm… ok, joke aside.

Lemme is a brand to watch.

The tech stack they use (and used):

  • Amped

  • Attentive

  • Gorgias

  • Govalo

  • Klaviyo

  • Okendo

  • Postscript

  • Rebuy

Now you?

Leads, anyone?

Lead generation doesn’t have to be fancy. Sometimes a rock solid guide gets the deal done.

GaaS for SaaS partnered with JoinBrands to create 32 pages of guidance on how to win influencers. From TikTok hooks to metrics. It has it all.

It’s a super in-depth guide, shared on LinkedIn.

I mention this because it’s one of the services you can get if you team up with GaaS. This is not sponsored, I just love that there are actual ecosystem experts (founders of Obvi) that built an agency for apps. It might be something for you. Their pricing starts at $5k.

(If you sign up, tell them I brought you)

Scared?

Because it's spooky season and I know you’re afraid of abandoned carts…

Thanks for reading. Next week, same time?
